Important Move-Out Reminders

To ensure a smooth move-out process and to avoid any unexpected charges, please review these important reminders before vacating your storage unit at Sooner State Storage.

  1. ๐Ÿ“ Provide 30-Day Written Notice
    Give written notice 30 days before the end of the month via email or text. If notice is not received, you will be responsible for the following month's rent.
  2. ๐Ÿ“ฑ Keep Contact Information Updated
    It is your responsibility to maintain accurate and up-to-date cell phone, email, and mailing address information at all times.
  3. ๐Ÿงน Clean Your Unit Thoroughly
    Clean and sweep the unit, remove all items and trash. Please notify us immediately of any spilled lubricants or chemicals requiring special attention.
  4. ๐Ÿ“† Vacate by Month-End
    Complete your move-out by the last day of the month for which your rent is paid to avoid additional charges.
  5. ๐Ÿ’ฐ No Prorated Refunds
    If you are still occupying the unit on the first day of the month, full rent is due. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial month usage.
  6. โ„๏ธ Winter Weather Responsibilities
    While we remove snow from the main lots after snow events, you are responsible for keeping your unit doorway free of snow and ice. Regular application of ice melt is recommended to prevent water damage during thaws.

  • โœ“ Floor swept clean
  • โœ“ No trash or debris left behind
  • โœ“ Lock removed (or notify staff if you're leaving it)
  • โœ“ Return access card/gate code device if applicable
